On October 16th at District Hall, CrowdComfort was fortunate enough to participate in the very first Disrupt CRE (Commercial Real Estate) event. Disrupt CRE is the first-of-its-kind commercial real estate and technology event designed to connect disruptive ideas with capital and commercial real estate professionals.
CrowdComfort was one of twenty disruptive companies invited to give a 45-second pitch to an audience of over 100 real estate professionals. This rapid-fire format gave the audience a lot to think about and included other compelling disruptive companies like CompStak, Enmetric, and Opportunity Space.
It was an exciting evening for all the start-ups, sponsors, and attendees. Kevin Loos, CrowdComfort Co-Founder & COO, delivered one of the 45-second pitches and noted that “this is an awesome opportunity for start-ups like ourselves to get our message out and engage with the commercial real estate community.” He added, “We (CrowdComfort) are part of an emerging market of technology companies offering lightweight, flexible, and mobile solutions that are disrupting the CRE market.”
Disrupt CRE Founder Stephen Hopkins was enthusiastic about the inaugural event, explaining that “It’s exciting to watch the industry adopt these new technology products and ideas in to their daily workflow. A genuine change to this industry will literally change the world around us. How cool is that!?”
The CrowdComfort team looks forward to following the growth and success of Disrupt CRE and plans to participate in their second event this January in Chicago!
