Today, CrowdComfort’s Chief Executive Officer, B. Eric Graham, announced that the Company has completed the final closing on its $1.407 million round of funding. He also announces key personnel appointments.

Graham states, “Proceeds from this round of funding will be used for marketing, sales, engineering, and customer support to service our growing base of enterprise deployments.” Graham goes on to say, “It shows continued and increasing confidence in our technology, capabilities, and market penetration in the facilities management market.”

Graham continues, “Also, I’m pleased to announce the appointment of new talented personnel who will play critical roles in our growth.” New team members include:

Oscar Cortes, Director of Engineering
Oscar Cortes holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and Management from Bentley College’s Elkin B. McCallum Graduate School of Business and offers more than fifteen years of experience as an application developer and architect. To advance an already robust CrowdComfort platform he will leverage his expertise in object oriented programming, systems architecture and analysis, and the development of database- based native mobile and web applications from conception through implementation.

Matthew Carmody, Business Development Manager
Matthew has been involved in Commercial Real Estate Services with several high growth firms since 2006. Prior to that he was a Captain in the US Air Force, and served in operations Northern Watch and Iraqi Freedom. Matthew’s military operational experience and MBA offer a unique combination to the real estate field. In the 3 months since joining CrowdComfort he has already shown his ability to drive sales and business development of innovative real estate products and services by bringing in accounts like Dreamworks, Taconic Investments (at Google’s NY HQ), and expansion opportunities within GE, mechanisms that accelerate profitable sales growth; brand recognition through creative and customer-driven insights; revenue and margin growth.

Gregg Dixon, Advisor
Gregg Dixon has led various sales, marketing, and business development efforts at EnerNOC and leading sales and marketing there for 11 years. Under his leadership EnerNOC was able to its revenue from $0 to its current level of approximately $500M in revenues today. Doug Levin is a multi-time CEO with extensive marketing and sales experience, and managing P&L’s. Today he is a partner with TechCXO – Boston.
